  1. Together Mode sync, voice input, and notifications

    Together Mode got several fixes and additions this week: turn sync was corrected, Realtime push was added, voice input was enabled, and the send button icon was aligned with solo mode. Chat mode persistence and menu positioning were also fixed, along with a synthesis card that now appears mid-conversation and a voice transcription bug that was resolved. Notification handling was tightened up on both mobile and backend, including dismiss behavior after Good/Low taps and a race condition around pending opens. The week also included product and analytics work for the web presence, plus PostHog key resolution and logging cleanup, which appears to be internal plumbing rather than a user-facing feature.

  2. Added chat mode toggle in the menu

    Chat mode can now be enabled or disabled from the 3-dot menu in the app. This adds a direct control for turning the chat experience on or off.

  3. Nightly check-in notifications

    Teddybuddy added a nightly check-in flow with database-backed action logging. The app also gained a TeddyBuddy agents experience and a daily review workflow. Notification timing was adjusted during the week, including a change to 10pm.

  4. Landing page and consent refresh

    A landing page was added for teddybuddyai.com and tuned for search visibility. This work focused on presenting the product more clearly to people arriving from the web. Consent handling was also refreshed, which is internal product plumbing rather than a new user-facing feature.

  5. Analytics, consent, and Together Mode fixes

    This week included fixes to Together Mode journal insights, exit behavior, and how leavers are attributed, along with a better invitation status and rejection flow. The consent gate was updated to handle policy versions more clearly. Analytics tracking was added with PostHog, and production use of PostHog was enabled. There were also performance optimizations for OpenAI API operations, documentation updates to match those changes, and internal cleanup including CI build fixes and removal of temporary development files.

  6. App branding and mobile UX updates

    The app logo was updated, and the mobile interface was adjusted around tab swiping, counts, and related user experience details. The backend and mobile apps also had TypeScript build errors resolved. The database schema was consolidated and a baseline migration was added, which is internal maintenance work.

  7. Polish Together Mode, Ask Teddy, and insights UX

    This week focused on improving the mobile experience around Together Mode, the Ask Teddy flow, and the insights screens. The app now has a cleaner interaction path in those areas. The app logo image was also updated.

  8. Tidy up crisis flow and Ask Teddy insights

    This week focused on fixing mobile and backend issues around the crisis and post-crisis flows, including safer session ID validation, better message restoration, and display fixes in the app. Several stale websocket and logging paths were removed as part of cleanup work. The Ask Teddy experience was revised with a new consent flow for a second user, updated insights handling, and database persistence for the insights message. Together Mode also received fixes for duplicate keys, loading states, and insights visibility.
